TREND CONTROL SYSTEMS |
CONTENTS OF DELIVERY:
The delivery includes (in the case of individual packages) the following parts:
1. DPSA Differential Pressure Switch-1 nos,
2. Data Sheet with installation information-1 nos,
3. 1 Duct kit, consisting of:
•2 m (2 yds 6”) of hosing,
•2 joining pipes with four screws,
APPLICATION:
- This device is intended for air conditioning and ventilation applications,
- Differential pressure switches are used to monitoring filter, fan, fire damper, or air flow status of air handling systems.
DEVICE OVERVIEW:
Only one screw is needed to open and
close the housing cover.
The P1-port, which implies
higher pressure, or positive port.
The P2-port, which implies lower
pressure, or negative port.
Transport protection for the
P2 port,
The Conduit entry for connecting
wires,
The Switching point and it is
easily modifiable using the scale in Pascal,
The bottom housing is equipped with 4-mounting
lugs or mounting angles.
Dimensions: Length 100 mm, Width 85 mm, Depth 57.5 mm,
Joining pipe length is 78 mm,
OPERATING RANGE:
This table shows the switch range or type, adjustment range for upper trip pressure, and switching difference of Trend Differential pressure switches.
*The trip pressure refers to vertical mounting. In case of horizontal mounting (with the cover pointing upwards), the range values increase by 20 Pa (i.e. a setting of 40 Pa will switch at 60 Pa). The unit should not be mounted face down.
TECHNICAL
SPECIFICATIONS:
The Pressure media air, non-flammable gases, and non-aggressive gases,
The Maximum operating pressure 5000 Pa,
Membrane material is silicone,
Protection class is IP54,
Medium/ambient temp. -20...+85 °C (-4…+185 °F),
Storage temperature -40...+85 °C (-40…+185 °F),
- Conduit entry is M20 x 1.5mm,
- Direction of M20 x 1.5 conduit entry can be rotated in steps of 120°;
- Mounting lugs integrated in bottom housing (alternative: mounting angles),
- Pressure connections two plastic tubes, outside diameter: 6.0 mm (0.24”),
ELECTRICAL DATA:
Switching capacity 1.5 A, (0.4) /250 Volt ac,
Electrical connections screw terminals or AMP connectors, 6.3 x 0.8, DIN 46244,
- Terminal 1 is Normally Close terminal,
- Terminal 2 is Normally Open terminal,
- Terminal 3 is Common,
- If the Set Pascal value is High than pressure, terminals 2 and 3 become active.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- To mount the Differential Pressure Switch use two length screws,
- Connect the wires to the 1, 2, and 3 terminals,
- Remove transport protection from P2,
- Connect the plastic tubes to the P1 and P2 ports,
- The trip pressure refers to vertical mounting.
In case of horizontal mounting (with the cover pointing upwards), the range values increase by 20 Pa (i.e. a setting of 40 Pa will switch at 60 Pa).
NOTE: Do not install upside down with trip pressures of less than 50 Pa, The unit should not be mounted face down.
APPROVALS:
• CE approval according to low-voltage directive EEC 73/23;
• Switch according to VDE 0630;
• EC Gas Appliance Directive 90/396/EEC according to DIN EN 1854 (Nov. 01, 1997)
